Nakobe Dean started off his rookie season with a victory this last Sunday (9/11), as the Philadelphia Eagles outscored the Detroit Lions 38-35. With the first game under his belt, Nakobe should expect to see more snaps than the three he played. As an outstanding defensive player, the impact of Nakobe this season will be undeniable, both on and off the field.
As a previous captain of the 2021 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team while at Georgia, selected in part because of his commitment to community service, it is no surprise Nakobe continues giving back while in the NFL. On Monday, September 12, Nakobe and fellow Georgia alumnus Jordan Davis supported a meal pack event held at Lincoln Financial Field, in honor of the 9/11 anniversary. Thousands of meals went towards a local food bank. Nakobe truly embodies what it means to give back and be part of the A3 Family!
